The U.S. President says if we don't reach an agreement with Iran by Wednesday, we may not extend the ceasefire. According to Donald Trump, however, the blockade of Iran's ports will continue. He added that "in that case, you will witness a siege and unfortunately we will be forced to resume bombing." The U.S. President, who was speaking with reporters aboard "Air Force One," the presidential aircraft, also said "twenty minutes ago, we had very good news. It seems things with Iran will go very well." Donald Trump made no reference to the content or source of this news. When reporters asked about the content of the news he referenced, the U.S. President said: "You will hear about this matter. I think something will happen. It's the only thing that seems reasonable and I think that's how it will be. We'll see what happens." Donald Trump simultaneously emphasized that Iran will not have nuclear weapons and under no circumstances can it collect tolls from ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz. Mr. Trump, again emphasizing the program to "remove Iran's enriched uranium," said we will either do this work with the Iranians' cooperation, or "in an unfriendly manner"; but in any case, we will do this work. The U.S. President also mentioned that Saturday morning (Washington time) he will have a "surprise" and someone will go to the White House and hold a press conference. Donald Trump refused to identify this person; but when asked whether it relates to the Iran issue or not, he said "it's not related but it might eventually become connected."
