Prince Reza Pahlavi, in his latest statement released Sunday evening, said that in his view the government in Iran "faces a serious shortage of repressive forces, and the increased shooting at people is not from a position of strength, but rather stems from a lack of mercenaries and fear of faster collapse and downfall."

🔸Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Parliament, responding to Donald Trump's warning about attacking if protesters are suppressed and killed, said: "We tell you, we are the nation of Imam Hussein. We are men of the field for you. Come and see all your capabilities in the region destroyed. Come and see what disasters will befall American ships, bases, and forces in the region."
He added: "Oh gambler Trump, we are your match. You martyred the commander of resistance to supposedly destroy the resistance."
Ghalibaf said: "Come and be burned by the fire of Iran's defenders so badly that it becomes a lesson for the oppressive history of America forever."
🔸According to France's news agency, the European Union spokesperson in Brussels said the union is "examining" new sanctions options against Iran due to violent treatment of protesters.
Anwar al-Ouni, EU foreign policy spokesperson, emphasized: "We are ready to propose new and stricter sanctions following the violent suppression of protesters."
🔸The Islamic Republic's Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Monday, January 12th, that despite the absence of diplomatic relations, a "communication channel" is active between Iran and Donald Trump's special envoy for Middle East affairs.
Meanwhile, Abbas Araghchi, the Islamic Republic's Foreign Minister, announced that the Islamic Republic "does not want war, but is fully prepared for war." He also emphasized that Tehran is ready for negotiations, provided the talks are "fair, with equal rights and based on mutual respect."

🔸Iranian state media, concurrent with the ongoing nationwide internet shutdown, have reported that several "online services" are active within the framework of the "national internet." State broadcasting agency published a list on Monday of services that, according to this outlet, are accessible through the country's domestic network in the current situation.
