🔻 Trump: We can destroy everyone, but I prefer to reach a written agreement
Donald Trump, President of the United States, said Wednesday, June 3rd at the White House regarding the Islamic Republic's attack on Kuwait and breaking the ceasefire: "We hit them (the Islamic Republic) hard Tuesday night, and actually last night too. And when they explained the situation to me, I said alright, so that's what we'll do, but we were also hitting them pretty hard ourselves."
Trump said: "So there are reasons for some things, and usually there's a reason that sometimes seems logical. And well, they did something that was very... it wasn't a big deal. We stopped it very quickly, as we do with the world's largest army. But some might say they were somewhat provoked, because we had taken decisive action for another reason. So they were retaliating."
He continued: "The negotiations themselves are going very well. Very well. If it happens; it might happen, it might not, who knows. But if it happens, it might occur this weekend. That's roughly how things stand. It's a different part of the world, you know. I say in that part of the world, ceasefire means you continue shooting in a gentler way."
Trump added: "Under no circumstances can we allow Iran to acquire nuclear weapons. Anything can happen when you're dealing with Iran, but when you're dealing with other countries too, this is a very unstable part of the world, probably the most unstable part of the world."
The US President emphasized: "We've gone through three leadership teams. This is a military situation, and there really is no army like ours. We could continue for another two, three weeks and completely destroy everyone. I prefer not to do that. It's very easy to do. They're ready to do it. They want to do it."
Trump said: "But if we can get something in writing that achieves the same result without killing everyone, I prefer that. I think most of my people want that too. Some don't, but most do. I mean, we have the highest stock market in history, despite a military conflict or war. Some call it war, some call it military conflict. For us, it's not a big thing."
🔻 Trump: Enriched uranium is buried under a mountain and we want to extract it
Donald Trump, President of the United States, said Wednesday, May 24th regarding the extraction of enriched uranium from Iran that the Islamic Republic has agreed to this at various times, but has also changed its mind several times, and this issue has been overblown.
He said: They agreed [to the extraction of enriched uranium from Iran] and then sometimes disagreed. This is one of the things we talked about. It's been way overblown. I myself overblew it.
Trump, referring to the International Atomic Energy Agency report, said these materials have been "destroyed" and buried under a mountain that has practically collapsed. He added that extracting these materials is very difficult, but emphasized: "I want to get it."
According to him, the US and probably China are the only countries that have the necessary equipment for such an operation.
The US President also said three target sites are permanently under surveillance, and in case of any movement, America will be informed. He added: "If anyone goes there, we see exactly what happens and we blow it up a bit more."
The US President said regarding mine clearing in the Strait of Hormuz that the United States has used underwater mine sweepers and cleared the mines. He added: "The Strait of Hormuz will open immediately after signing."
🔻 Trump: Iran was a big global problem and if it wasn't contained, it could have destroyed the Middle East
Donald Trump, President of the United States, regarding talks with Hezbollah said America has spoken with this group for the first time and it was agreed Tuesday that no shooting would take place. He added that Israel is also not supposed to shoot and emphasized that issues related to the Strait of Hormuz, nuclear program, and Lebanon should be examined separately from each other.
Trump said Benjamin Netanyahu, Israel's Prime Minister, has been a "very good partner" for him. He also, referring to America's role in regional developments, said without Washington's help, Israel would not have been able to carry out recent operations.
Trump added that Iran was "a big global problem" and if it wasn't contained, it could have destroyed the Middle East.
