Islamic Republic media have said that Ali Abdollahi, commander of the central headquarters of Khatam al-Anbiya, met with Mojtaba Khamenei and presented a report on the readiness of armed forces, including the army, Revolutionary Guards, police force, security institutions, border guards, Ministry of Defense, and Basij. According to these reports, Abdollahi said the armed forces are at a high level of readiness in terms of combat morale, defensive and offensive preparedness, strategic plans, and necessary equipment to confront "enemies." Fars News Agency, affiliated with the Revolutionary Guards, reported about a cargo ship that was targeted near Qatar's coasts, citing an unnamed source, that this ship was flying the American flag and belonged to the United States. The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported Sunday morning that a projectile was fired at a cargo ship 23 nautical miles (37 kilometers) northeast of Doha. According to this report, a small fire broke out on the ship which has been extinguished and there were no casualties. Fars News Agency says "a tanker carrying liquefied natural gas belonging to Qatar named Al-Khuraitat" has passed through the Strait of Hormuz "with Iran's permission." According to this report, a gray and white slick was seen west of Kharg Island that, according to a researcher from the "Conflict and Environment Observatory," covers an area of about 45 square kilometers. According to Abbas Asadrouz, "Based on the announcement by the international center 'MEMC' representing the International Maritime Organization, there is no leakage in the infrastructure, storage tanks, measurement systems, docks, pipelines in this area, and ships being loaded."
