“Mamosta Mohammad Nezhati,” a Sunni cleric and prayer leader in the Chianeh area of Piranshahr County, was killed in an armed attack. “Malika Hematzadeh,” a 13-year-old girl from the village of Desk in Nikshahr County, died at Nikshahr Hospital in Sistan and Baluchestan Province after being bitten by a scorpion. According to her father, the facilities and medication needed to treat her were unavailable. Malika’s father recounted: “Only one female doctor came and said she would put her on an IV. Iranian media have reported the sealing of several cafés and restaurants in central Tehran.
