Donald Trump said: "We are facing a country that is sick and deranged, and has nuclear weapons or wants to have them. They had gotten very close to it. Remember, they were only two weeks away, two weeks." He added that if America hadn't attacked Iran's facilities, "within two to four weeks they would have had nuclear weapons and would have used them against you, against Israel, and against others." Defending America's attacks during the 12-day war, he said: "I said we need to change course for a while, take them out, and then return to normal life. That's exactly what we did. We did it with violence, we did it with power, and with the world's respect." Trump continued, referring to the ongoing military operation, adding that this operation has helped America's allies, but at the same time showed that some allies "weren't present at all," saying: "We didn't need them, but even if we had needed them, they weren't there, and this will be very costly for them." In another part of his remarks, referring to ongoing negotiations with the Islamic Republic, Trump said: "They are negotiating. They are begging to make a deal." He once again emphasized the need for Tehran to reopen the Strait of Hormuz and said the United States is ending a threat that he claims the Islamic Republic created through "terrorism, aggression, and nuclear extortion." The U.S. President also said America's operation called "Epic Fury" is "shattering Iran's capabilities; something no one has ever seen before." Emphasizing America's military superiority, Trump added: "We have the most powerful military in the world" and "We have weapons that no one, except a few of us, even knows about." Trump said: "When we decide to exit - you know, regime change - I think we've essentially changed the regime. This regime faces severe blows every other day. Everyone is afraid to announce who the leader is. Even we don't know exactly who the leader is. So I think regime change has already happened, but at some point we will exit." He added that with Iran's nuclear threat eliminated, "that dark cloud won't be over our heads anymore - the cloud of a sick Iran with nuclear weapons." According to Trump, this threat targeted not only Israel and Arab countries in the region, but also America. Trump also referred to the Iranian government's missile capabilities, saying: "Just a few days ago they launched a missile 2,700 miles - no one even knew they had such capability. This shows we learned a lot." The U.S. President then criticized NATO, saying the alliance made a "big mistake" by not sending even a small amount of military equipment and refusing to officially recognize what America is doing "for the world" in confronting the Iranian [threat]. He said: "Why should we be there for them when they're not there for us?" However, Trump emphasized that he didn't consider this war "very risky," though he acknowledged that "war always has risks" and "unexpected things happen." He also targeted critical media, saying if you read the New York Times, "you'd think we're performing poorly - this is really close to treason, honestly speaking." Trump added: "Fortunately, there are other media outlets that are fair and honest." ... He continued: "All their leaders have been killed. No one even knows the remaining people." Trump also called the Islamic Republic "the Middle East bully for 47 years" and said: "Iran is no longer the bully. They are on the run." He added: "We saved the Middle East. We didn't just save Israel, but saved the entire Middle East." In another part of his speech, Trump spoke about the prospect of normalizing relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel after the end of the war in Iran. At a ceremony in Miami that, according to the Associated Press, was financially supported by Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, he said: "Now the time has come. We have driven them out and they have been completely expelled. We must enter the Abraham Accords." He also said America is determined to have "the best technology, the brightest minds, the biggest businesses, and the strongest economic and security partnerships in the world." @ VahidOOnLine 📡 @VahidOnline
