Iman Sadeghi, a 20-year-old blogger and one of those arrested during the [Dey protests] in Kashan, has been sentenced to more than 13 years in prison. He was sentenced to seven months and 16 days in prison on the charge of “propaganda against the system,” and to 12 years, six months and one day in prison on the charge of “publishing criminal content against the country’s security.” “Publishing criminal content in media and publications that results in insulting individuals” is another charge brought against him. Hojat Kermani, a lawyer, reported the re-arrest of environmental activists Sepideh Kashani and Hooman Jowkar, who had previously spent years in prison.
